Remembrance Service

Rev Stephen Smith, minister at Greenfield Church and the current chairman of Churches Together in Urmston, led the Remembrance Day Service, at the War Memorial in Golden Hill Park today (Friday 11.11.16).
The well attended service heard readings from Psalm 88, Ezekiel 37 and Revelation 22. All the churches in the area were represented; Ministers, Clergy and Laity all took a part.

Greenfield to Mark Armistice Day

Greenfield Church will join with Churches Together in Urmston to mark 98th anniversary of the First World War Armistice.

At 10.45am on the 11th November 2016 the churches will meet at the Golden Hill Park War Memorial for a short Service of Remembrance followed by 2 minutes silence at 11 o’clock, the exact time the armistice came into effect. The service will be led by Rev Stephen Smith, Greenfield’s Minister, and current Chairman of Churches Together in Urmston.
